Withy started the new year with an emphatic 4-1 win away at Wadebridge. Things didn't start to brightly for Witheridge and they fell behind after 10 minutes after a solo run and goal from Dan Magee. The hosts then lost their keeper after a coming together with Withy's Lee Woodman ended with the Wadebridge keeper suffering a dislocated shoulder. Witheridge applied pressure on their hosts and got their equaliser on the stroke of halftime after the home keeper spilled a Simon Bochenski shot which allowed Phil Everett to tap into an unguarded net. Almost immediately after the kick off Withy took the lead after Richard Lamacraft's cross was turned into his own net by Adam Cudmore. Withy made it 3-1 within a minute of the second half starting after Bochenski sprung the home sides off side trap before firing low and hard past the home keeper. Wadebridge were then reduced to ten men after Chris Yeatman was sent off for a second bookable offence before Bochenski rounded off the days action with a fantastic 25 yard freekick which he bent around the wall and in off the inside of the post.
